UPDATE: The RocketHub.com project mentioned, below, has ended. However, I still have my set of Linda Pault Billiards Artwork. I’d love to find a good home for it. If you are interested, leave a comment, below or send me a tweet @PoolBiohacker. Whether you want the whole set or just part of it, I’ll entertain all offers. You can find out more about the collection of billiards art, below.
I’m throwing out all of the punches, trying to make sure my Billiards Brain Hack project is the best that it can be.
I am offering up in my set of my “Movie Set Series of Billiards Art” by Linda Pault of Ride The Nine Designs.
This is part of my crowd-funding campaign to fund my Whole Brain Billiards Boihacking Project via RocketHub.com.
The details about the artwork is below. Click on the link above to find out more about my 6-month intensive brain training project and even more rewards that I’m offering to contributors.
In addition to the billiards artwork, listed below, I am including some of the other rewards to go along with the artwork. With the artwork, I’ll include some other stuff like a link on my site, secret video access throughout the project and a DVD I’ll create at the end of the project that will share everything that I learned. Most of all, you get to help make the project be as good as it can be.
With that in mind, I’m offering up my personal collection of Billiards art by Linda Pault. I bought this set from her at Allen Hopkins’ Super Billiards Expo about 15 years, ago. Back in the early days of the SBE (fun times). I think I was one of the first buyers of her collection, because she only had a couple of the pieces of the collection completed. I pre-bought the set from her and she completed the remainder of the set over several years time. When I bought them, I had just bought a house and installed a nice 9ft. Gold Crown III in the basement. This set was for that room. Well, since then, I’ve moved 4 times for different career moves. None of those homes have had room for a billiard room :-(, so I’ve decided that it would be better if someone had them that could put them to good use.
They are signed and hand-numbered. She produced a limited print production on hand-pulled Giclee archival paper (very high quality). Each peice is 21″ x 31″. I have certificates of authenticity for each. I had one of them framed. The other 5 prints are in the original packaging, so they stay protected.
I have included some pictures that I took of the prints that I bought. Keep in mind, I just unwrapped them and took a quick picture. The picture quality is not the best. However, the prints are in like-new condition. So, don’t judge them by my crappy picture-taking abilities. If you want to see a better digital representation of each print, go to Linda Pault’s website at Ride The Nine Designs.
Here are the pictures of the actual prints in my collection.
The last piece is called “Phantom of The Game” and it is framed, even thought it is hard to see in the picture. I also included a picture of the back of the frame. I had it framed at a professional shop, so the quality of work is good, IMHO.
I tried to create a good value with this project reward. Linda has them listed on her site for $395 each, unframed. That is almost a $2,400 value.
I’m giving them as a reward to one lucky project funder that contributes $900. That is more than half-off. Also, I’m including the secret video access, the special Billiards Brain hacking DVD. I didn’t mention it on the project page, but I’ll promote your business on my podcast for 24 episodes as part of this reward. Since I’ll be sharing all of the results & data of this project, contributors have the added reward of making the project better. The more funding I get, the better the project will be and this could benefit many people.
Well, that’s it. This reward offer may not appeal to most, but I thought I’d put it out there and see if anyone is interested in helping fund the project. Thanks for visiting.
